Individuals applying for a designation in the audio-visual, theatre and live events sector are required to write a multiple-choice examination that tests both the breadth and depth of their knowledge, while individuals applying for a designation in the broadcast technology, broadcast operations or content creation fields are required to provide a portfolio of evidence supporting their claim of competence. They may also be required to participate in a “Competency Conversation” with specialist members of the Certification Council.
Whether you are providing a portfolio of evidence or writing the online examinations, the process of awarding professional designations is conducted by the SACIA Certification Council who guide and administer all aspects of our certification programme. The tests are written online at a time and place convenient to the individual member. The exam questions are constantly under review and improvement, utilizing subject matter experts under the guidance of professional exam development experts. |
